I was just wondering if anyone here knows how to wash pillows correctly? Like the ones you have on the bed not the ones you sleep with but the ones you have like throw pillows for example I have teses that are green and some are peach colored some in the shape of hearts and others are just white and square with a pattern. But I don't know how to wash them correcly without them looking dingy any advice?

I really don't wash mine that often at all. What I do is throw them into the dryer with a fabric sheet or wet wash clothe with liquid fabric softner on it. Not only does this make them smell fresh but it also gets all the dust out of them too. I will also do my bedspread this way once a month. Keeps it from losing its color... I hope this will work for you. Keep smiling.

You are very welcome..Like I said I do this all the time for my throw pillows. I do wash my bed (sleep) pillows in the washer about every couple of months. In between that time I do them the same way with the dryer. Keeps things smelling fresh all the time.

I put them in the washer on gentle or on medium. It's not perfect but they usually tolerate a couple washings before they look funky or won't come clean anymore. And then I usually air dry them for a day or two as you have no idea how the stuffing will react to the heat. Most of the pillows say "spot clean" or "surface clean" but not every thing can handle a scrubbing by hand either. All I can say is take your chances if you wish and worst case senario you'd have to replace them.
