I am almost finished paying off my credit card. I owe about $151.00 now. I will pay that off and leave all credit cards alone. I want no more for right now. it's about cash and carry for my future. For 2010 I plan to just pay off bills. There will be no spending of extra cash either. Just paying off my debt for my future credit score. I must pay back bacnk of America real soon. How are you doing with your debt?

So far, I am not paying off anything of my debt at this moment. Without having a lack of stable income, I am unable to pay off my credit card like I would want to. That is great that you are choosing to pay back your credit card debt sufficiently. Paying back credit cards can be a big headache.

I don't have a credit card that I will be paying off. But I have other types of debt that needs to be paid off though.

Yeah I know what you mean, I have several thousand in credit cards now and I am a student which makes this really hard. The interest makes it hard for me to pay it down with very limited money coming in from a part time job on just the weekends.Hopefully i can cut my spending down and be able to pay most of it back by next summer. With another tuition payment due in January I will not be able to start paying back the principal till that blows over and i will try hard to get it down as much as i can.

Getting out of debt has been a major struggle for me and my husband, especially since we was out of work for a time. However, over the last year, we've settled on six of our credit cards, and we'rd going to work on our next one starting next month. It's been a hard struggle, but we're getting there. We're starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel.

As much as I would love to pay off my debt, it's not really possible for me to do so right now. Right now, I'm still a student, and neither me or my husband have a stable income, which makes it difficult for either one of us to pay down our debt. But we're working on it, and we're hoping to have it payed off as soon as possible.

I think it is great that you are so close to paying off your debt. My husband and I only have one credit card and as soon as we get money again we hope to pay it off. I am hoping to make some extra money soon so I can start paying off my debt and start saving up for our trip to Vegas this December. I really want to see my parents for Christmas this year. It has been too long since I have seen my parents. Now that we are struggling so much financially it has been hard to keep up with our regular bills let alone having a little extra spending money.

You are the lucky one, and I really envy you for all your hard work toward paying off your current debt. For me, I am not so lucky though. I finished paying off one credit card, and I thought only 2 more to do. My friend scammed me with another credit card, which is discover card, we both start a business account with. Now he won't pay for it, only me to keep on paying this crap. I don't know when I can pay them all off.

Sounds like you are doing well. We are slowly plugging away at our debt, but it's still massive. We are going to do a big push towards it in the new year, basically starting today.

I can say you done a great job to eliminate your debt right now. For me, I still have a long way to go. My debt is much huge than yours, and I might need to take a couple of years of hard work to get rid of them. I should learn your method, and I should discipline myself strictly to eliminate those debt all - together.
