When Jesus was born did not any a calendar, because the calendar has any and become a popular 100 years after Jesus was born, although there was no clear evidence. Current calendar we use is mistakenly called, we call it a calendar BC, whereas the calendar BC comes from Islam. American people and the Christian world current Calendar calls as calendar Julian not Calendar Jesus. Date and month of Christmas is not from Christian religion. Absolutely nothing to do. the date of 25 December as Christmas day it was not an option, but just a habit the Jewish especially the Jewish merchants usually sell cheap goods transitional period between summer into winter, and the date is set as the date of 25 December. Then this date was also adopted by most Christians in Germany because based on the story, Jesus was born in Bethlehem at the time of entry of winter. And they celebrate it automatically on every 25th December with a celebration of winter. problem 25 December as Christmas Day was actually not just the Christian religion, things like this happen in other religions such as the Chinese tradition with their holy day, also Hindu and Buddhist

Hi advokatku, well thats very much a sound interpertation you've made there and interesting that it originates from a Jewish trading date as that ties in with the modern christmas which is a celebration of trading and money, and its good to see that Marks and Spencers is still as popular now as it was in biblical times when it comes to turning a good profit at christmas. Excellent discussion here by the way.

no people notice that even the christan, so that's not important. people just need to know the coming of christmas and how to celebrate it. even it's not 25th december, even it's someday in january, people won't mind it. now christmas is not only for christans, it becomes a world wide holiday! so just remember it's christmas!

..no one knows when Jesus was exactly born.. As for me, I don't celebrate Dec. 25th bas the birthday of Jesus.. I celebrate on that day to remember that once, Jesus was born on this earth and became our Lord and Savior.. It doesn't matter to me already the exact date when Jesus was born.. what is important for me is to give thanks to God for giving us Jesus.. Most Christians celebrate on the 25th of December just to commemorate the birth of Christ.. they don't mean that Jesus was born on the 25th.. they just remember that He was born on earth..
