Many persons here on the island do not eat pork and that is one of the reasons they advance that when alcohol is poured on pork they see worms. Now I have never done this experiment before but it has not stopped me from eating pork. Do you eat pork ? and if you dont ,what are the reasons for not doing so ?

I have eaten pork before although it is not my favourite and I have never seen worms of course. I would imagine there would be some if the pork was off, surely there are no worms living in it! It is not my favourite meat an now you have put me off it altogether! I have never heard of anything like this before and it is a disgusting thought! Surely worms would only appear if the meat has been left out of the refrigerator for a period of time...

I have never heard of worms on pork. You normally only get worms if the meat is old.I love pork with apple sauce really tasty.

Hello my friend ronnyb Ji, Well, we are pure vegetarians and never even take onions and garlics, forget about Pork etc. But with regards to worms/Bacteria, even curd has many, only it is not visible with open eyes. The reason behind vegetarian is purely as we come from such family, where these things were never taken. So a family tradition as far as possible is being maintained. May God bless You and have a great time.

Yes, I do eat pork. The people that I work with is from palestine and there religion is all about not eating pork. I would hate to have that religion. I want to eat anything I possibly can for people who cant.
