poor Lost kitty

Hi becdmd I can never ignor strays cause there are so many in the area I live. I'm not kidding you but the other night when I was walking my dogs I saw no less than 15 black kittens running everywhere (There are alot of empty lots in my neighborhood and a lot of building going on so they are clearing trees and stuff and these kittens are loosing their space. Its sad but then my husband tells me not to feel bad bacause cats will eat lizards and mice etc and will survive..I just cant stand to see a hungry animal..In your situation, are you saying the cat is missing an eye? If it stays around, I would call animal control and have it picked up as it probably needs medical attention. Frogs can be very dangerous and some are very poisonious..Here in Florida, we have these huge frogs that spit some kind of stuff out when they feel threatened and the stuff can kill a dog in a matter of an hour if the frog connects with it. Its scary and I have to watch my dogs all the time. My Irish Setter chases anything that moves, much less hops and I'm so afraid for her. These frogs are around all winter long and seem to disappear in the summer. I dont know where they go, probably to water somewhere..Maybe the cat in your yard will move on and you wont see it again but if you do and it looks hurt or sick, I'd call animal control..Good luck and happy new year..J

I have had three cats in my life time and each of them came to me becase they were discarded by neighbours, I hate to a cat out there with no one to love them....
