how to change myself

I think I have a bad habit. I look at the negative side of things and gets scared first before I even start new things. And get irritated easily and complain a lot. I spend my day in state of torpor... I feel bored all the time. my friend on the other hand, is a perpetually happy person. she carries happiness with her, sharing it with who ever is near her. she is always happy and is eager to do anything. I'm envious about her attitude. she says she wakes up every morning wearing smile on her face because she is excited to start a new day. this is impossible for me. I hate to wake up in the morning.... I try to live like her and is trying but is hard . Is there a way I can change myself like my friend?? Do you live like my friend???

Just stay away from your bad friends for atleast 3 months... then look at your changes and behaviour
