i have seen valcanoes exploding, storms and tsunami also in television.but i have seen earth quake.it was a mild earth quake.it was in one evening, i was teaching my cousin mathematics.we both were lying down.my aunt was grinding something in grinder.the moment she switched on the grinder there a sudden earth quake the ground tiles were jumping and the floor was moving like a wave.all the things were shaking.we both really don know what was happening,we thought that there was some prob in of that grinder.we were kids at that time and we both felt as if lying on a big vibrating object.then we heard a sound from saying its earth quake. the moment we heard we ran and came out of home.when i came outside houses were dancing to the left and right as we see in cartoon pictures.it was a mild earth quake so only i am alive now else?

Though earthquakes are horrible you are lucky to experience one of nature's furies and come out unscathed. I have only read about earthquakes and the one which I saw was in the film 2012.Did you see the film? By God's grace my locality lies in a less probable earthquake zone so I hope the tremors will not cause the trauma that inflicted you. By the way what was the intensity of the quake that shook you.

Hi cosmopolitan: Yes, not everybody can tell that they have lived a situation like this in their lives. It's not something that you would like to see in your real life but at the same time i can not deny it's amazing. I think that, what make the memory even more memorable is that our friend was just a kid when all happends. Thanks cosmopolitan for your answer. Hope you are having a nice day. Merry Christmas/ Have a nice day. Take Care. -Alvaro.

I witnessed a number of hurricanes in my time .One of the most ferrocious storms I have ever witnessed was hurricane Gilbert in 1988 .It downed every communication system, damaged road and infrastructure. The country was locked down for about three months or more . Even as a young man I realised that this was a serious time in our life .I remember being excited initially until I walked around and saw the level of destruction that was left in the wake of it passing was incredible. The hous ein which I lived was destroyed and we ahd to stay by our neighbours until we could get our house sorted out and food was short and water .Words cannot even begin to describe the extent of damage

Hi karthi: that was one of the strangest stories i have ever heard. I don't know if you might feel like for watching this spectacle and be alive to tell us this story or if you rather should be shocked even today. I have seen a natural disaster some years ago and it was a huge inundation of my town because of the high storms at this moment, it was horrible but at the same time incredible how the strenght of nature can change the place we live in. It makes me get more respect on God's creation. Thanks for sharing with us your anecdote. Hope you are having a nice day. Merry Christmas/ Have a nice day. Take Care. -Alvaro.

Hmmm. I was a victim of the great Tsunami that hit the coastal areas of India, Sri Lanka and Indonasia on the 26th of december 2004 my friend, which killed more than a million people. I was to loose my parents and my brother my friend. But in just a hair's difference we were saved my friend. Its one horrible incident and a one troubling experiance in my heart that I'll never forget my friend.
