Closer and closer to Jurassic Park

I came across this article on using cloning to bring back an extincted species http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/science-news/4409958/Extinct-ibex-is-resurrected-by-cloning.html While this is no way to solve our environment problems, the potential of this technique, and the possible abuse, is not lost to me. Do you support cloning? To what extend do you support it?

i'm on the fence about it. on the one hand,it might help restore endangered animals, but they have to watch it,because that could lead to non-diversity of species. extinct animals they still need a "host" species for the most part(eggs and or gestation),so it'd never truly be the original animal..and you could run into the jurassic park problem.. but as for people and "prize" animals it's a little ridiculous. they also need to fix that degeneration problem like "dolly" the sheep had.
