A headline that makes most people think "Hmmmm...."

Someone who's under suspicion for fraud for millions and then their house that they are unable to sell is suddenly up in flames?
http://www.wisn.com/news/22066244/detail.html
Makes a person think... "Hmmm....." Especially after an exec is accused of embezzeling millions from the hand that feeds her last week. Make one really wonder what actually happened.
Clearly not many people are in the market for a million dollar home these days. Many are thankful to have any roof over their head & I know this to be a fact as I am one of those who are thankful.

That certainly sounds suspicious. The person must be very stupid if they did torch their house after being at the center of an investigation!
I'm also thankful for a roof over my head. There are so many people having trouble these days and many are out on the street.

That's why I entitled this discussion as "hmm...." cause you don't need to be a rocket scientist to have alot of suspicions as to the why on this fire.
You are right there are many of us out there happy to have any kind of roof over our heads then to be a fool and destroy where we lay our heads at night.

Nope not the same chick the one with this house ran daycare centers & I guess was defrauding for child care for those people that are in welfare to work programs I think.
I've seen it on the news too where people going into forclosure do drastic things to their homes. Even heard the same thing about cars. It's just so sad things get that far to force people to do such things.

i don't know what was wrong with it started biting other children and actually mutilated one.you often hear kids called hellspawn, but boy, that one really was!

From what I've read & seen she owned a few day care centers. Afterall ya don't suppose she'd have the kids running around her million dollar home? Ran a few centers in the hood.

Well, I guess they can just add another million dollars to the fraud that they are already investigating her for. I don't think that there would be any question that this is an arson in the general minds of the people until it is proven to not be an arson (pretty unlikely in my mind).
You are completely right that there are not a lot of people that are in the market for a $1 million dollar house right now and we too are some of the people that are thankful to have a roof over our head. There is no reason that someone should do that to their house just for the insurance payoff that they would end up getting, but there are a lot of crooked minded people that will do something like that.

I don't think this is a coincidence, too many people doing such things during these hard economic times weather or not they are facing criminal charges in other aspects of their life.
