I love buying clothes for my children. My husband thinks I have overspent on them. How about you? Do you buy their clothes occasionally or only for special occassions.

I love buying clothes for my children too! I probably do overspend, but children's clothes are so cute! My husband and I have had discussions about that too because he's always saying that they grow out of them so fast that we really don't need that many different outfits. He says we should just do laundry more often! I always just kind of laugh when he says that because I like the kids to have a nice variety of things. I guess it matters a little less for our youngest because he's still really young. However, our oldest goes to school and I don't want to rotate the same 5 outfits every week! I know people who do that and that's fine if you want to, but I like to have a lot of options for them, just like for myself!

Hi, Zalilame. I love buying clothes just like you. I am buying a new blouse or jeans or anything else every week. I am buying expensive and branded clothes only for special occasions, but cheaper clothes I am buying every week. I think most of the womans are same... before having child we love to buy clothes and other stuff for us and our family, and when the baby is fact we gone crazy and start buying clothes and toys like if we didn't do it now, we couldn't do it never-ever. Lol.

I think so too. I just don't want them to experience my poor old life before

That's another reason why some parents are buying everything to their kids - because they don't want their kids to have same experience and they try to give them all they can give - same to me.

i used to buy a lot for my first born.. a girl.. then my second... a boy... but my babies - they grow so fast, and they outgrew their clothes pretty quick.. i cant afford to buy new baby clothes everytime... and after no.3.. i find their clothes - tho' very, very cute.. are also quite costly.. i've kept the baby- clothings pretty well, so i've been 'recycling' them for no.3-5. of course, i do buy some new ones - specially for the 'new' baby - but not much.. and yes.. they each have their 'own' new clothes for Raya and stuff...

Especially if your child is a girl right? little girls' clothings are irresistable! For me, a lot of clothes are given to my girl cos other friends find little girls' clothes too cute not to purchase. I suppose you can save a lot if you have friends who have children who are slightly older. I always say yes to hand me downs since kids grow so fast and the second hand clothes are usually still very new!

Honestly, i can't think of something for myself when i go to the mall. It's always for my kids or my husband's. I buy clothes for my kids whenever I have the money like on pay days and special occasions, of course. My husband doesn't complain about my spending coz he also likes buying things for our kids. Thank goodness, this is not an issue between us.
