This is a shot of an ice crystal on a window in my house where I blocked the flash a bit with my finger. You can actually see the reflection of my finger in the center of this shot. It was taken a little after midnight with no lights on in my house and with an exterior light on causing my finger to reflect. Do you do anything out of the ordinary when you take photos to get an odd effect/result?

Wow yet again that is so pretty! I really need to start taking pretty pictures. We dont get that much ice over here so its really nice to see other peoples ice, we get that nasty ice that settles on the floor and makes people fall over. Although it is quite funny to watch its not quite as funny when it happens to yourself!
You really are great at photography!

The day prior to starting discussions
I usually take hundreds of photos.
I love my camera and use it a lot.
I especially love editing them for special effects.
I tokk almost 100 just of my grandkids opening gifts this year.
I have a discussion about that as well I started today.
We had a snow/sleet/ice storm on Christmas day.
I'll have a discussion about that tomorrow (Wed.) too.
Thanks again for dropping in and commenting on my discussions.

That is another cool picture..it looks like feathers in the center of it. I like that reddish effect that it has.
I have never really done to much as in way of effects with my camera but I have accidently had my finger over the flash and realized that because of the it makes your pictures red(like yours) I have taken a few pictures by doing this and have also taken those same pictures to to photshop and made some really cool pictures with that red effect.

I just realized that these pictures are from the window. Even the black and white one from the other discussion. When I lookes at it, it looks like overhead crystals about to drop on my head.
Yet, nice pictures again grandpa Bob.
Thanks for sharing.
