Are Uggs worth the price?

What do you think? I'm constantly having this internal argument with myself over whether or not I should buy them. It's always gotta be a dilemma with me. I just can't, with a clear conscience, fork over $180 for a pair of boots. But then again, they're always in the back of my mind! I simply just WANT a pair really bad!
Do you think the appearance/quality of Uggs overcompensate for the enormous price tag?

I think that if you really can control yourself to buy it coz it will be a bigger dilemma if that thing goes out of stock.
I am not familiar with Uggs but I have an experience. I really can't accept that when I went for strolling, I saw this awesome jacket and I am still thinking if I should buy it. When I went home I decided that I would buy it but when I came back after that day, it was already gone. Naturally I felt really bad that I should have bought it yesterday adn many more. Quite frustrating if that happened :D

Uggs are EXTREMELY popular here and I doubt they would ever run out of stock. They're not unique. Almost everyone has them (which I can't understand..How can everyone but me afford them?!), so it's a different situation than with your jacket. It's too bad you couldn't get your jacket, though (but at least you saved some money, right?)

I think uggs are very ugly shoes. however everyone I know has them.. Like I said before I will be buying bear paws myself. I know your going to need to buy something to water proof them. That snow and rain will mess them up. they are worth the money from what my friends say. Even the ones from payless are said to be warm shoes. I bought my daughter her bear paws from t jay max for $30.00
