Domain flipping. Has anyone heard of this? Do you have any tricks?

My boyfriend has began to 'domain flip' at first I was quite skeptical, but from the looks for things he's doing really well. Searching through experired domains, buying them for cheap prices, and selling them to big companies that haven't bothered to do the middle ground for a large profit. -that's a bit of an awful description, but its how I get my head around it. Does anyone else do this? how much profit did you make? Has me mentioning this got you into the idea?

It would be interesting to do if I knew how. I wouldn't mind say doing that maybe a few times a year, I guess it would depend on how much could be made, and also if it's something I'd really want to spend time doing. Lol.

Lol, yes. He spent about 2 weeks picking out 4 good domains, then he bought them ll for $40, and they're going up for sell for $200 - $500 each. But they may take months to sell.. Worth it.. But takes time..

Oh my husband and I are way too impatient. How is he selling them? craigslist? lol I don't know the first thing about it, I mean I guess I have my ideas of what it entails, lol.
