Tribute to Dr. Vishnuvarhan

Dr. Vishnuvardhan was a well known and great actor of Karnataka. He is famous as "Sahasa Simha" and he is also called by any other names by his fans.
On 30 Dec 2009 morning at 3AM he passed away due to Heart Attack. He was in Mysore. In Bangalore with all Government respects the last rites are going to take place on this day.
His movies are a treat to watch. And he was one of the greats of Kannada Movies with Dr. Raj Kumar.
He was just 59 year old and this news came as shock to one and all of the Karnataka State.
Karnataka minister Suresh Kumar said the state was "devastated over the death of the greatest actor of the Kannada film industry".
Some of his biggest hits were Vamsha Vruksha, Nagarahaavu, Suprabhatha, Leela, Bandhana, Kaidhi, Yajamana and Aaptha Mithra among others.
The actor has also won many prestigious awards, including seven state awards and five Filmfare awards.
Karnataka will always miss him.

May his soul rest in peace. I pray to God to give courage to his family and all his well wishers to bear the loss. He indeed was a great actor and many of his films had run to full houses for weeks. May his memories live for ever.

Oh!It is very sad to hear his end.I am from Tamilnadu and he is also well known in our state too.He had acted in so many Tamil films too.And his wife is also well known here.He is such a nice actor who can handle gentle man roles quite easily as it his character.I share my consolation to his family members.
