In-Ear Monitors VS Regular Earphones

I love my new in-ear monitors. The sound from my mp3 player has never been this good. I replaced my old regular earphones after years of using it and I probably won't use another one again. In-ear monitors fits snuggly in my ears, all the sound outside are blocked out, it's like having a live concert in my brain. The old earphones I used made my ears hurt after an hour of using it and it always fall when I'm jogging. What do you prefer to use?

I use normal headphones as I find that they produce far better sound for the money and you have to spend quite a lot to get a really great sound from in ears. I also hate it when you use the in ear ones and they always fall out.
