The meaning of education

If you still think the diploma held in your hand really means alot in the salary expectation you gonna tell to the manager, then you are not only making yourself an outtie, but more of an idiot. All the fantacies you have built up in college that you are getting good education will help you access every good oppotunity in recruitment would be overturned by the ruthless reality.Go out there, and you can easily find those less or even none educated earning much better than you.Just because they started at the time when you joyfully set your course in university studying, you now have to come under them. Then let me help you wonder: what's the point of wasting time getting education, especially the education that later you find out you'd never put it into use. I wondered that once, coz i was feeling unfair, not specifically about the company's decisions of not giving me higher pay, but about the consequences of our choices in life. The book in school never teaches us that decent education equals no decent job. I held that complaint untill one day i barely made myself persuaded.Firstly, good education does not necessarily bring you good pay, but it definitely will bring a totally different you, a decent you, an elegant you and a full-minded you. In this way, education is more an access into a style of living than a tool to help you survive in the future. It exemplifies the lifestyle in your ideas, taste and friends you own.Secondly, if you really want to focus on the payment for the investing of your fine education, it's really got to be a long time appraisal. Watever you learn, the way of thinking you gain is more important than the specific knowledge in the long run. I guess this is called vision, which i believe only good education can make it happen. PS: my ideas suited to Chinese.

The only thing a diploma tells a potential employer is that this individual finished the course to the educational establishment's satisfaction. It won't tell an employer whether or not this individual will be a good employee. We seek to be educated to acquire knowledge and so others cannot take advantage of us.

that is because most jobs out there are for people without education. they are created that way because companies prefer to hire and use people below them, such as the lower level blue collared people and ethnic on quotas. they want to hire hard working lower level people who arent lazy. the educated people need to have connections and have to do a lot of networking in order to get in anywhere, and most people dont have connections, especially right after college. that is why they struggle a lot until they make it.

You have the point, most fresh grads just don't have the connections, which usually grow as the time goes by.hey, there, you are pretty.

Here in America, when the degree is in the right field, it absolutely guarantees a better job, more pay, and all of that. I am sorry it does not work that way in China. Perhaps for those who don't find it true, they are choosing the wrong areas in which to get the most education, or jobs and pay scales just work differently.

Wrong areas? but seems there'r quite few right areas here. even if you are smart enough to settle in that area early, it's not some random area any one can access into.you know the population here. They speak for every side of story here.

I'm taking the education you mentioned as the school education, right? If yes, then I do have that feeling, and in that way, the previlige of good education is in another way a vitim to be caged in a haven.
