I just wondered if this would be considered some kind of abuse on mylot...vivek666 posted a question and then it looked like someone named thulai2lan answered it 36 times...? I believe it was about models being thin...is this right? Or is this allowed?

i don't think so...but hard to tell it's in a language I don't know...and possibly the answers might have been like duplicated at some point throughout the 36 messages that the person left, i'm not sure.

it's a very interesting discussion indeed... four years old discussion responded ?? god knows how many times (the page is still loading) and written in the language of mars (lolz)!!! it's the first post of the respondent and probably he is making some experiment to see how myLot works... lolz... the person became a member four hours back and he hasn't given any detail about him/her... oh god, it's still loading... i think, the person is still posting.... lolz... is it right or allowed? may be :P... i think, none's required to report it, it will automatically be removed... otherwise, it's supposed to be in the list of top discussions ever... lolz...

I received 4 response from the same person but he did apologize for the repetitive posting citing technical errors which I believe and accepted. But responding 36 times on the same post is way too many and probably that person need psychatric treatment or just trying to test the system.

I guess we should give that person who made 36 times post in a certain discussion the benefit of doubt of reasons why made those acts.
Maybe he was not able to read the said guidelines on this site. Or, to increase profit earnings for that matter. We really do not know unless he explain himself on the said matter.
For me, it was said clearly that post response be made in descriptive manner. Therefore, one respond to post is enough to give his opinions and can add many in posted comments. Likewise, give others the chance to post their views. It will be a redundancy or bulk postings if made it 36 times in posted discussions.
The starter of the discussion should have expressed his comments about that matter.
I guess, posting one response is almost enough to share opinions. Hence, there are many interests topics can be chosen to post response.

My understanding of the guidelines is that we cannot post muliple time in the attempts to get attention. I'd say posting 36 times would fall into this category.
I could see something like it getting posted two or three times as an honest mistake with some minor tech problems. This almost sounds like someone had the help of some technology. What is called when someone uses like a bot or something like that for doing tasks. What I'm thinking of is the main reason that so many sites use the capchata code.
While we are talking about abuse what can be done when you see something under a thread that you posted to already. I mean I'd love to report the abuse, but on the other hand I don't want the thread to be deleted. I wish that admin would just delete the post that is out of compliance rather than the whole thread.
I think the reason behind not stating other members names is too not post something attacking another user. I think it is fine to talk about something like asking a hypothetical question or asking the question without including the user's name.
I look at minor errors like these as we are all learning. I think myLot needs to look at the intent was something accidental or purposefully done. In the case we were talking about 36 post that sounds pretty deliberate. Things like not knowing not to include someone's user name or asking a question that might go against the guidelines a lot of times is more accidental than anything.
