Songs of the Decade

I personally don't think that his been a decade of music that moved people or stirred people to action or anything like that. I think the music from 2000-2009 has been for the most part background noise to the crisis and disasters that have swallowed up the focus of people everywhere in an ever increasing hoard. There have however been some chart toppers and some anthems but at the moment I am drawing a blank on everything but the rock and roll. So here we go for great songs: Hero, Rockstar, Saving Me, Train by Nickelback Wake me up inside, Imaginary, and Call me when your sober by Evanescence Bleeding me Metallica With arms wide open, Higher, My Sacrifice, One by Creed. Save tonight by Eagle Eyed Cherry anything by Santana throughout the entire decade. Matchbox 20 has given us some great songs, and new sounds. I can't really think of many great Hip hop or R& B songs that I would save in a time capsule for future generations to represent the decade.

There's this local Christmas song here in our place...by Jose Mari Chan. And wow, that song is been played in Christmas since forever. And it actually reminds me of Christmas whenever I hear it.
