Where's the celebration for tonight

I always prefer going to the church, the whole year we enjoy we have parties the last day i prefer to be at the church, i really like to spend the midnight in praying rather than partying, my best friend asked me to join her in a party, but i just want to be in church and pray

I have parties to go to but none of them are on my side of the family. It is mostly on my in-laws side. I have to say I am not up to it for the one here near our house. I find it hard to forgive a couple who pointed fingers on me and so I do not really want my new year to see them in the same vicinity. I would rather not go if I can but I cannot.
