Are you someone who likes taking tests? Do you challenge yourself when you take tests, to see if you know as much as you think you do? Or do you just want to get it over with, hoping you did well?

Yeah, I must say I am.Only a test must be available in a subject of my interest. I would not be able to take a test just because I like doing so. Like I am abysmally poorly informed about films. But as a member of Flixster I am called upon to take quizzes which I don't think I can make it. So, I keep ignoring the requests.. what else?

...Hi there GADHISUNU, Happy 2010 to you and your family. You are one it seems, who enjoys learning, which is such a good thing, each day is another period of time where we can be made aware of something new. Would you be so kind as to inform me about Flixstar and the test taking? I thought that Flixstar was a movie rental company, am I incorrect, what is Flixstar? Or maybe the tests they give are for entertainment purposes? Please let me know if you have the time. Thank you.

If I remember well the site name is Flixster- and yeah it is a movie rental company, in the US..? But I do not remember how I was roped into it, but well, I keep getting mails which are mainly movie recos, but almost always there are a host of quizzes bundled along and they encourage you to write movie reviews for them. One such site is Netflix. My brother a resident of San Jose Calif. has written a few reviews for this company.

...Hi there anklesmash, Happy 2010 to you and yours. From your comment, I think you like it when you are in control of the situation, and there is no pressure. I can fully understand that. I am just about the same way, if I have to do well then I don't even want to be there, but if it does not matter, then the pressure is off, and as you say a test can be fun. Thanks for your response. May 2010 bring you all that makes you happy. Take care.

When I was in school I saw every test as a battle between me and the material. I used various methods of studying until I "owned" the information and usually felt pretty confident when it came time to take the test. Since you always have the opportunity to prepare for a test, there's no good excuse for not being ready to do your best when you walk into the classroom.

...Hi there spalladino, Happy 2010 to you and to your family. I would say that your response is a good example of how you approach taking a test and having a succesful outcome. Great approach to absorption, understanding and output of your classroom subject. No doubt high marks were on the agenda for you in your classes. Thanks so much for your response. May 2010 be very good to you. TIE (take it easy)
