Special Christmas gifts

Well last year i got my girlfriend a Christmas tree as she didn't have one at her grandma's house where she stays and this year i got her the train to go around the tree. She was really excited both times about the gifts. I also got her some other stuff that she received on Christmas day, but i think these are the ones that are worth mentioning.
So what special Christmas gifts have you given out / or have received?

This year the most special Christmas gift that I have given out would probably be making 2 street children's Christmas the best that they have had so far. That's because a week before Christmas, a group of classmates and I thought of treating 2 street children for the day. We selected young lemon vendors that would frequent a boutique. They sell their merchandise outside and have become friends with the salesladies tending the boutique. We just though that they deserve a break this year. So we helped them sell their lemons and when it's sold out we took them to a mall that they've always wanted to get in to but couldnt. They ate good food and played games.
Seeing their happy faces is probably one of the best Christmas gifts I got this year.

This was really nice of you and your friends.
Myself and my girlfriend went at the children nursing center near her parents place on the second day of Christmas and gave chocolate candies to each and everyone, and played with them and hugged them. They really enjoyed it.

Glad she liked her presents. I didn't shop for anyone but my grandkids . I don't shop well. gave my kids money & they can buy what they want or need. Can't please them anyway, lol.I hope u got some nice things.Happy new year!

Well money is good especially for those that know how to use them.
We also received money from her grandmother and we were happy about it, as we will save it for our summer vacation.
We also received money from her parents but 1 sweater per person as well, and some sweets. We got some sweets from my parents and my brother and his fiancee too and some shower gels and my girlfriend got a psychology books from my folks (that i suggested :P).
We also exchanged gifts between us.

I went all out on my sons, getting one a soldering iron and the other some Under Armor stuff. I received a scarf that my sister knitted and a plastic bag holder she sewed, a kitchen timer from one son and a beautiful card from the other. My mom sent me a lovely ceramic dragon for my collection.
The best present, though, was another Christmas with my Dad who is 87 and won't be with us much longer. He and my stepmother live 30 miles away so I get to see him about twice a month. I'm going over there for New Year's day dinner.
