What makes a good mom?

My own mother left our family when I was a tiny girl. I grew up with my wonderful dad and two older brothers. Now I have a son of my own (6 weeks old!) and I want to be the best mom for him I can be, and certainly not leave him like my mom left me. I want to be a good mom, but what makes a GOOD mom?

What makes a good MOM? well, based on my experienced as a mother of two beautiful children, being a good mom starts at the very beginning you discover that your pregnant. Then as your child grow, of course you must give your son all the love, care, nurture, patience and quality TIME.I think, the most important thing you could give your child is the unconditional love, and assurance that he can depend on you no matter what.Let your child knows and feel that he is loved and needed, so he would grow up with self confidence and happy individual. I hope this will help...

i have a good mom and i also like to think that i am a good mom to my 12 and 16 year old daughters and hopefully will raise them to be good moms too! i think that patience and just being there for them is a great start.

I'm working on patience, and I'm definitely going to be there for him!
