I don't anymore and have not for a few years. I always break mine and I hate seeing other people break theirs! I think it is ridiculous to do! Instead of resolutions I make goals for myself. They i don't tell anyboby about them. So if I do any goals or not I don't need to share them with anyone! With some of the people I work with would be grilling me about why I chose those goals! Alot of them have nothing else to do then to drive others insane! So that is what I plan to do!

this is actually pretty sensible bluepacker. i recently read an article about why new year's resolutions nearly always fail and this is because they are too ambitious, often too negative and too much to attempt at once. especially following a couple of weeks of overindulgence. it is better to have a goal and break it down into small steps - for example if the goal is to lose weight then your first step is to go to the gym 3 times a week, rather than just saying on new year's even 'this year i will lose 3 stone'.

Thanks for the response! I plan to eat better and keep exercising for examples!
