Who has been lovesick in a new realtionship?

I just started getting serious about someone I've known for years. Our relationship has been mostly physical until the past week or two. We cared about each other but weren't exclusive. Now EVERYTHING has changed and we both feel sick! I'm wondering what the heck is going on. My stomach hurts when we're apart like I need to throw up, my thoughts are consumed by him, and I feel dumber than normal. lol. The best way I can describe it is that I feel silly and out of sorts. Has this happened to any of you? How long should it last? Will I ever be able to eat again? I've read some articles online that compare that feeling to Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I'm not sure about that, but I am sure that I feel really strange and I don't remember feeling like this since I was in high school. Sigh...love is a madness. lol

yes, i have but unfortunately they were infatuations. time told me that. i hope however this is the real love for both of you. the best to you both.

Love really is a madness. I truly believe it's a form of insanity and hope to never suffer it again! I know that it is a normal human thing, this infatuation and complete absorption in another person, but it causes us to act irrationally and forget ourselves. I wish you happiness, though. I remember that feeling and I never want to feel that way again.
