I think I stay in the same country as yours. I stay in India and people really dont follow rules here. But I really follow all rules that are made by the government. I drive car and I always wear a seatbelt while driving. I dont answer my phone when I am driving. If its urgent, I either pick up and say that I will call later, or I put it on speaker if really needed to speak or park the car aside the road. All these are some alternatives that I use while driving.

Ya its true my friend. I used to text a lot while I drive. And I attend to calls taking the mobile in one hand and driving with the other my friend. But now after getting a lot of scoldings from my beloved, I've reduced it to a greater extent my friend. And I use headphones now my friend. And only if I've an emergency call just to attend it before I move out of the road I use it my friend.

No, because I don't drive! So I can text while riding the bus, train, etc. But I'm not a big text user, I have to say. There are laws against using cell phones where I live, but I still see plenty of people doing so.

sad to say i do talk on the phone while i drive, but i always make it a short conversation, police are always on the move, but i can't text, for one i have a full keyboard for texting and trying to text with one thumb while trying to watch the road makes it way to hard, so i don't bother, so either the passenger has to text for me, or they have to wait till i get to a red light or my destination :)
