looking for a good camera

I recently went down to the city and my camera i have just did not take good pics. the skyline was all distortated. i was bad. almost like it have a distance problem.
if i want to go to the city again i want to take good pics. any camera suggestions to get the distance?

have you tried DSLR camera? i would recommend you use it.
i went to one store to another to gain opinion which camera is the best. what is the result? i got none, because every time i visit another store, they recommend me to other brand, and that happens all the time. from what i got, the fact is, brands like canon, olympus, and panasonic seemeed relatively equal. sony has much favor in design, while no store so far recommend me to buy samsung, casio or benq.

hi firebirdlizant... i would suggest you to buy a sony H series digital still camera... i have one sony dsc H5... its features and performance are really good... you won't probably get an H5 now in the market... present models are available with more advanced features... i think, you'll love it... you may look for one in the showroom... you may look for their specifications in the sony site...
