Are your Friends taking advantage of your friendships?

I hate to think about it. I went to my home country and one of my friends asked me to bring some of her favorite stuffs in our country. I told her, it is okay as long as it is not more than 2 pounds. She said yes. So when it is time for me to pick up those stuffs, her brother handed it to me and I told him, "oh, it's heavy", he said, it's just around 5 kilos (12 pounds) and said my mother sent it here from another city. When I went to my sister's apartment where I stayed over night for my flight. I was thinking what to do. I weighed the entire bag, it was almost 18 pounds. So, I decided to bring only up t 3 pounds. I will tell her to send it via mail. I travel on the new year' eve, so it was busy anywhere plus I do not want to carry heavy luggage. Now, I am home safe but did not contact her yet.
