Some of the things my kids say have me laughing so hard my belly hurts. I try to write some of it down so I will remember it later when they are older and I can tell them some of the things they said when they were little. Do you write it down or remember it?

My son has his days where I think how does he come up with this stuff! He's really just learning to communicate with us better, but he is also learning about his sense of humor. It's so cute. I should try to remember to write the things he says down for my scrapbook. Be so cute to look back and see it all!

hi surveygrrl well this is way back as I am now elderly but my son and my daughter were just too quiet, so hurried in to find my son busily cutting off the fringe on my new towel my mom had given me for my birthday. when I asked him why he had done that, he looked up and said, mom its all unraveling, so I cut it off so it would not unravel any more. I wanted to scream but I had to laugh as he was only three ,his sister two, and he came up with that word and he knew what it meant. he had evidently overheard me complaining to my mom about my favorite old sweater that was starting to unravel. this boy is now a man and a computer programmer and a genius too. But when he was four and his sister three I was not a happy camper when he decided to give her long hair a hair cut. I hurried in when I heard her say Wobbie dont do dat, stop it. He had got my sewing scissors and fortunately got them caught in her thick hair before he could actually cut any hair off. wow . I shuddered to think what could have happened. I asked him why and he said oh her hairs too long mommy. well I said if you ever touch my scissors again, you will get spanked hear me. he said, yes I heaR you loud and clear. I did have to laugh as that was his dad's expression. but I was indeed serious about the spanking. he never did get spanked though as I did not use that as a mens of discipline at all. do not believe in it.

Oh goodness. I am glad she didn't have her hair cut short. I do all the hair cutting in our house and the kids know that I am the only one allowed to cut hair. Not even Daddy. haha.

I do try to video tape some things but take more pictures than anything. I don't have the video camera going a lot of the times that they are doing or saying something that I really want to remember. I do make a slideshow DVD of their pictures each year. They love to look back and watch them now even though my oldest just turned 6. I can't imagine how many times they will watch when they are grown up.
