Do you have a nanny at home?

I grew up without a nanny. And I think that was beneficial for me and my parents. Some of my cousins grew up under the care of their nannies. I even have a friend who spent more of her time with her nanny than with her parents. Up to now, she relies more on her nanny. Many Filipinos (and other nationalities as well) try their luck in other countries by applying as a nanny. One acquaintance of mine left her teaching job to apply as a nanny in Italy. She's now earning four times her salary when she was still a teacher. How about you? Do you have a nanny at home? Have you ever tried hiring one?

I didn't grew with a nanny. I lived with my tita while my mom is working overseas. My tita is the one who cared me until I was highschool and that was the time we had a nanny coz my lola cannot do much chores anymore. :D

Well, for now i would say no, i once had one when i was quite younger but as the years went by, i saw no reason to keep one. Really,it not easy keeping one and that's why its a smoking hot paid job in some countries. I am a male and i may be tempted to apply for one but the question is, does it matter?

We never did have a nanny at home. I think the ones who took care of us while our parents were out there working would be our other relatives. My parents would tell us that some of our Aunts took care of us but, being young during those times, really can't remember any memory of them taking care of us, well me for that matter. My brothers and sister might have an idea on how my Aunts took care of them but, I sadly don't have any memory. Maybe because by the time that I was around, my brothers and sister were the ones who took care of me...? Anyway, yeah, a lot of advantages as well as disadvantages when you get or be a nanny.

well, my daughter is old enough to take care of herself now (22) so no need for a nanny, BUT when she was little she did have four babysitters, but ALL were close friends of mine!

No I don't have a nanny. I grew up working in my own without any nanny. Me and my family help each other in doing household chores.

I do have a nanny for my son which happens to be a cousin of my husband. She looks after my kid while I work. Much as I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom and just look after my son, our current finances doesn't permit me to do so for now. So when I have time, I bond with my son although sadly he is more attached to his nanny than me.
