I am having my firefox open up, and there were three tabs. One with GPT cashcow, I was clicking its daily clicks; another one with clicksvista, I was also clicking its ads; the third tab I was checking my email. After I finish all these tasks, I will go to other sites and keep doing the same thing. I also have "Opera" open up, and doing mylot discussion, and response too. I don't know how I did it, I guess that I kept on practicing it every single day; Now I developed this technique myself. Sometimes, it might cause confusion, but I get used to it already. Can you be multi - tasking?

Hello! How are you? Of course, I can multi-task. For example, I will listen to music, chat on IM, watch TV, and post discussions on myLot all the same time. While I was in school I learnt to multi-task. I had to do so much that I basically started because I had so much to do. You really have to keep focus on each task s you don't get confused.

I'm extremely good at multitasking... In high school I use to read while walking to my next class and chewing gum...lol. I always shocked the other students my friends would try to put an obstacle in my way to see if I would go around it or trip over it. Now I do a lot online I do my sweepstakes while listening to the news and I go back and forth helping my husband with homework and paying the bills and reading over policies and statements. I usually have a lot of balls all up in the air all at the same time. I run around doing house cleaning then back to my computer. I've been working on genealogy also. I can't seem to do only one task from beginning to end it seems easier to have a bunch of things going all at the same time.

Hi there felice369! I do some multi-tasking from time to time. There are instances when I need to get a lot of things done. However, my problem is that I don't have the luxury of time. That is why I often do them almost all at the same time. I am good at it but not an expert. There are still times when I end up confused and pressured.

'I do like my firefox so much. I do use IE at times if firefox is slow but like my firefox so much better all around, specially having the tabs open.

Hi Hatley: I love Firefox too and that's the browser I chose regularly. I think it's simply better than the Internet Explorer and I am so used to Firefox that i don't want to change this habit. Lol. XD. I have tried to use the multi tasking options but as i said i feel that i am actually losing my time when i try to do various things at the same time and that, at least for me, two things are ok. Thanks for your answer. Hope you are having a nice day. Happy New Year and Keep Mylotting. Take Care. -Alvaro.

I always do multi-tasking... My firefox has 4 tabs.. neobux, mylot, facebook, friendster. MS word is in my task bar and articles are waiting to be edited and so is my thesis. At my right are my homeworks and i am doing them as i am surfing the net. My iTunes is on and its playing my song. I am doing this right now. Earning money, socializing, farmville, cafe world, homework, editing, thesis and sound trip...

I'm a multi-tasker at heart. My brain is happiest doing more than one thing. Of course, only one task can be the primary task, the secondary task must be a passive one which requires no real concentration from me such as listening to an audio book. That's my actual favorite secondary task. I listen to a book, thereby, fulfilling a New Year's resolution, while I write or surf the Internet.

I'm a multi-tasker at heart. I am usually not happy doing just one thing. Audio books were a great discovery for me because I could listen to a story thereby reading more (one of my New Year's resolutions) and do work like writing here or on other websites. This sort of dual activity makes my brain much happier than single activity occurrences.

Hi felice: I have always try this but i feel that it's better to work with two windows at the same time and even with that it makes me feel confused sometimes. In fact, I think that if we open more windows we are not saving time because we have to look to many things at the same time and this is really annoying. Even with that I think you have a great ability to do a multi- tasking, but it doesn't work for me :(. Thanks for asking me this question. Hope you are having a nice day. Happy New Year and Keep Mylotting. Take Care. -Alvaro.

Multitasking is a skill that I have picked up in my life. Its a necessary skill. I find that I have gotten it down to what pretty much amounts to a science. I get far much more done. In fact, its about the only way to get anything done it seems, by multitasking. Otherwise you would feel overwhelmed.

Everybody more or less does multitasking in present day's scenario. The capability of handling numbers of windows depends upon practice. I can manage four windows comfortably and trying to improve my best. Wish the New Year bring to you all that you desire and deserve. God Bless!

Yes I find myself multi tasking in the same fashion. I have a routine, openning certain websites in a certain order. It helps me stay oraganized and get more done. I always have multiply tabs open and doing several things at once. I don't know if it really makes me more productive though becasue I think it slows my PC down and I need to make sure to clear my cookies every once in a while. But I think multi tasking has a certain placebo effect in that you do think you are accomplishing more.

I am soo terrible at it! I don't think anyone can truely multi-task. We came up with a slogan at my work called, "No Multi-task, No Multi-ask!" Now that we are doing a lot of trianing via WebEx, it is soo hard to make sure people are actually paying attention during the session. The worse is when you are on the phone with someone about something important, and you can tell that they are multi-tasking. Why is bad? Because that means you know they just didn't listen to what you had to say. Do you think you can be an active listener and multi-task at the same time?
