Where have all the ENGLISH English myLotters gone?!

No, no, no - not racist at all, believe me. Ow. Stop doing that - it hurts ...
I noticed a lot of myLotters seem to know each other personally, so I thought, "I know, I'll track down some discussions from people in my area of the UK (Surrey) and see if they'll come out to play ... or at least be friends with me ... someone has to ... 
At first I was delighted, when I saw so many entries for Surrey on the UK pages. Only ... most of them were in Surrey, CANADA. Plus one in Russia - though that may have been a spoof. The majority that were from Surrey, UK, had had no activity for the last 60 days!I then narrowed it down to Crawley - which is actually in West Sussex but let's not quibble. Plenty of mylottersd there - but NONE of them have been active for the last 2 - 3 years!It appears 
there was a mass influx of Surrey and Sussex folk to myLot around 3 years ago. But then they mysteriously disappeared. I am inclined to believe they have been kidnapped by another English speaking country. Canada - I want my friends back!

Maybe because your friends are busy partying and skiing in the Peaks of Canada. You are right Englishmen myLotters were gone, I only have one friend from Uk from my friend's list.

I think so. Vancouver will be helding winter olympics this february, oh! its next month already. They have ski resort I think in Whistler, Vancouver.

I agree - Newcastle isn't that far. There seem to be plenty of active UK MyLotters - just far and few between. Maybe we should have a UK MyLotters Convention and drink broon ale while we twitter away in public!

we should set up a english living interest only for brits ha ha ha
and wheres all the good looking english avatars not good no eye candy to drool over ha ha ha
but yeah seems we are a bit of a dying breed here on mylot.
Maybe its the exchange rates for the money you earn here who knows,

I used to live in Kent and then I moved to Somerset. I can see a few English friends left on wonderful My Lot. I have friends from many different countries. It is fascinating to make friends from around the world. I hope to visit my friend that live in Chile sometime. She is similar to me in many ways. She loves to travel to different countries. I hope you find some more English friends as well as ones from other cultures.

I agree - I enjoy reading about life in the Phillipines and India. It's just that when you get US friends reminding each other to put the bins out on here, you kinda feel you're missing out on something. I know what it is - life, that's what I'm missing out on!
Somerset ... I know that area. I've got family there - or did have, till they moved to Cornwall. I'm aiming for dorset, myself. Oo aar!

Although I live over here I´m originally from Wolverhampton Staffs. U.K. will that do?
I have not seen Darkwing on here for a while either hiya benny up there from Newcastle I´m much nearer to you Wolverhampton is in the North West Midlands more or less anyway.
Well Sue will that do for now anyway being from Wolverhampton (grin) we have plenty of U.F.O. sightings here but they have´nt got around to me yet.

Hiya jazz,
Sorry I forgot to mention anklemash that´s even nearer to me. We gave our Alsation Dog to a Family near Oswestry and they loved him to bits.
In fact we used to work at the famous Chainbridge Hotel so we passed by there every week on our way down to Wolverhampton.
