My youngest daughter flies every year to visit her father and other family up north and this year was no exception. Fortunately, she flew up on Dec. 22nd, before the incident on Christmas day. While waiting for her plane on the 31st. I was watching the enhanced security screening that was taking place as a result of that botched attempt. The airline I was at didn't have the full body scanners but they were patting people down pretty seriously...arms, front, back and down each leg. They were also looking at the carry ons very closely. If I needed to get somewhere in a hurry I would still fly.

Yes, I do travel by plane even there are many stories about them and some ended up tragically. When I was on board,I got this experience when the plane was about to have an emergency landing because of technical failure. I was so frightened that incident in my life. That moment is the unforgettable for me. Still now, I do travel by plan even and I pray for our safety. It is more convenient and less time consuming when you travel by plane than cruise. Plane is product of human technology and seemingly man do commit errors. All planes do have troubles and if the operators are delinquent in doing their jobs, those innocent people who rendered their service will suffer in effect. Hard to admit but it is true and do continuously happen nowadays.

I never really liked to travel by plane to begin with. I'm just paranoid that something would go wrong or something, even before the tragic events of 9/11 occurred. Which is interesting, considering the fact that I live right across the street from an airport of all things.
