Travelling Around the World

Hi,
This discussion is about travelling. Hope we can share our travelling experiences with each other. Discuss on which are the best places that you have travelled to and also the places that you wish to travel to but have not been to yet. Also, discuss on whether you would prefer to go travelling by yourselves or with your loved ones. Finally, discuss on the main reason that you travel, whether it is mainly just to accompany your loved ones or whether it truely one of your main hobbies.

Travel is my top hobby. I love to visit different countri
es to see the landscape, meet the local people, find out about the culture and watch the native wildlife. I am an explorer find traveling an exciting adventure. I traveled around the world when I was 20 years old. I traveled by myself on that journey and my trip lasted for just over one year. These days I travel with my toddler son and baby daughter.
My route was London to California to Hawaii to Fiji to Sydney to Adelaide to Cairns to Darwin to Singapore to Indonesia to Malaysia to Singapore again and then back to London.
If I could do another trip around the world it would be:
London to Beijing by train, fly to Tokyo, have a train pass in Japan, fly to Vancouver, fly back to London.
An alternative would be:
London to Rio De Janeiro overland Lima, fly to Cartagena De Indias, fly to San Andres Island, fly to Panama City overland Guatemala City to Houston to Vancouver to Tokyo to Manila to Bangkok to Delhi to Cairo to London.
Now that would be an exciting trip but so too would be a trip on the Trans Siberian Railway.

Your experiences are interesting. I hope to travel to the places you mentioned as well. How I wish we could travel as many times as possible per year and enjoy life to the fullest. Have you travelled to almost every part of the world? I enjoy seeing beautiful sceneries and landscapes and also the different cultures of different countries in the world.

I have travelled to Jakarta. It's great city and It provide many good malls. You know, I love shopping there because Jakarta provide low price stuffs for me. Jakarta also have great theme park named Dufan. It's great! I love having vacation there with my family. So, how about you?
