I have waited two weeks to start this discussion, but with the Jets up 27-0 at half time againt the Bengals, I think its safe to say they are in. So in the AFC Wild Card round we have the Jets playing at the Bengals, and Baltimore playing at New England. Over in the NFC the wildcard round will feature two rematches from week 17 as Green Bay goes to Arizona, and Philidelphia plays in Dallas. The Colts, and Chargers are the 1 and 2 seed and receive a 1st bye in the AFC, while New Orleans and Minnesota occupy those spots for the NFC. So those are the seedings, and let the debate begin. Who do you think will advance in the playoffs and win the Superbowl. My picks in the AFC is the San Diego Chargers VS Indianapolis Colts for the AFC championship with San Diego advancing to the Superbowl. In the NFC, I look for Minnesota to edge out the Cowboys and beat the New Orlean Saints in the NFC Championship game. SUPERBOWL PREDICTION: San Diego Chargers beat the Minnesota Vikings 31-27

Vikings? They couldn't even beat the Chicago Bears. I think they are going to be upset. I'm going with New Orleans to win it all. The league will rig it so they can have a feel good story to talk about for the next month.

You very well may be right about New Orleans. I thought about that one for awhile, but I chose the Vikings because I think they are just the more balanced team. Although I wouldn't be surprised at all to see New Orleans in it. San Diego VS New Orleans would make a lot of good game and good story lines. People forget Drew Brees was Phillip Rivers mentor for two years before he left for New Orleans.

All I know is that, before they played today, the Miami Dolphins were still mathematically in as long as they won and about five other teams lost. Since they lost I decided not to worry about who else won. I will say this. I was a long time Colts fan when they were in Baltimore. A member of a multi-generatinal family of Colts fans who stuck by them losing year after losing year. When they snuck out of town in the middle of the night after assuring the people of Baltimore that they weren't going anywhere they cut me to the quick. So, I will root for anyone who goes up against the Colts. I do like the Ravens though.

I know how you feel, I was once a long time Los Angeles Rams Fan before they left for St. Louis. Since then I have been a full time Chargers fan, who were always my AFC team
