How to celebrate my dear father's 60's birthday

In the next few days this month,my dear father's 60's birthday is coming.I'd like to celebrate to make him happy.He is saving all his life and he pay more attention to my relatives.Therefore I plan to gather some of my relatives to bunch.But now I don't know if there are other programms to celebrate and buy what present for him.I want to give him a surprise.What is your opinion?Thanks for your sharing.Good Luck!

If I may suggest it right, at the age of 60, your father might prefer to choose a simple but memorable celebration for his birthday. A family and relatives beach or river picnic party may be perfect. Old persons does not want a to noisy environment, nature can heal and entertain at the same time. For your personal gift, I also encourage you to initiate an effort that everyone who will attend shall bring their best present they can think and afford for your father as a part of the surprise, have games too to be more exciting.

The best present you have always given him is your love and respect. That is the most important thing to him. Go get him a dogtag and let someone engrave his name on it with his birthdate and a big 60, and with your name with lots of love. It is not he best present, but he will know it came straight from your heart. He will treasure it, that i can promise you.

You have a great plan for your father's birthday. You know in that age, they treasure all the attention and surprises given to them. That is the age where they wanted to stay more with their love one's and enjoying life with them.
You can give him many surprises to make it more fruitful and see his reactions and appreciation for your efforts.
