How bad have wait times been in airports since last weeks scare?

I have to travel from STL to DC tomorrow and am trying to figure out how early I need to get to the airport? Was not sure if the lines to go through security are doing to be a lot worse than normal, or if things have died down at all? I know that there was a plane that left St. Louis on Friday that took off and then they turned around and came back to Lambert because there was some concern about a passenger on board. It turned out to be nothing, but I want to be sure I get there in plenty of time :)

My daughter boarded a flight to England new years eve and it wasn't much hassle. We got there 8:30, her flight was at ten and we had time to do the automated check in (though tht ecounter helped her do that), we had time to find a bathroom, for me to have a smoke, for us to sit in dunkin donuts with coffee for a bit and still got through security in plenty of time. I would recomend taking as little carry on as possible to ease security time a bit and keep things simple.

My youngest daughter flew out of Florida on Dec 22 and flew back, leaving from BWI in Baltimore on Dec 31st. Each time she arrived at the airport an hour early even though she had printed out her boarding pass from home. Each time the line at the Security gate was not too bad and her wait was not too long although they were pretty thorough. My suggestion to you would be that you check in online and print out your boarding pass from home if you can. Then arrive an hour before your flight so that you have time to check your luggage and go through security. If you can't print out your boarding pass, give yourself an extra half an hour. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes that are easy to slip off and back on again because you will be taking them off.
