I have got star rated 5,I have got 4-5 times best discussion,what they indicate?

Frnds I have got star today in internet category but I don't what it means,Has it any benifit ,You must be knowing it you ,because I see most of you are having it,has this anything to do with easrnings,will this benifit me?
I have also got 4-5 times best discussion in a category ,but has that anything to do with earnings,friends help me? If you know please tell me,you must be thinking that I am arrogant and bragging myself,but Friends I don't mean that? I am just asking?

Your 'star' rating is called your 'MyLot Reputation'. It shows how well your discussions and responses have been received by other MyLot members using the Discussion Rating System.
We are told that the Discussion Rating System is 'factored in to' the earnings algorithm but this does not necessarily mean that the value of your MyLot Reputation affects your earnings.
