Okay my dear friends, I know there are a plenty of differences between westerners and Chinese, but I'd like to get your opinions to guide me. Firstly Chinese regard an apartment(to ignore house because it's much expensive) as a basis of one's life or career, they would think these are unstable who haven't any apartments or houses. Secondly it's necessary to have an apartment before getting married, and girls always regard this as a precondition to find spouse, therefore these boys borrow money from elder parents or relatives to get one to comfort their spouses or wives. And finally, is also the extremely worse thing, the apartment price rises rapidly these years, 4 years before I could afford one square meter by on month income, 2 years before I could afford one square meter by 3 months' income, in the last year, I give the illusion on buying an apartment up. I cast my admired eyes on these westerners who enrich their experiences by world-wide travel, they try to dig different cultural nutrition up to fuel their life wherever, and that's my dream when I was a boy, I desired to visit the world to find out the life value of myself. But the reality is I have to work hard to find several square meters place to let me stand, and it's still far to reach.

Now, I live in a rented apartment. I can't afford to buy a house with the salary I get. I don't think renting apartment for long run is a good idea. I feel that it is always better to go for a loan to buy a house if you don't have enough money. In that case, at least you can pay the money you give to the house owner every month to pay for your loan.

Thanks to response, daliaj, I live in a rented apartment too and agree with you it's better to have an apartment than rent one. As you know, to get a loan from banks I have to pay 20% or 30% of the total payment of buying an apartment firstly, and that's much higher nowadays because the price increases to about 3 times of price 4 years before.

Fortunately I am not trapped in these kind of situations since I have an own house ( House not an apartment). It's always better to own an apartment rather than renting one since own house always has the advantage. Renting an apartment is better but it comes with a condition. If you have a house which can be rented at a very good cost, then you can rent the apartment and with the money, you can choose a low cost apartment and stay there as a tenant. With this, it's an all win situation. Even If you get a loan from bank, you can repay it quite easily and once the loan is repaid
