Upgrade VGA with about 100$ budget.

I have a plan to upgrade my VGA. I currently used GForce 9500GT with 512Mb DDR3 RAM. Funds that I have about 100$, my friend suggested Ati-4770 or NVidia 9600GT. If you had to choose, which is better ?

you should go for nvidia 9600GT .. because the 9 series of nvidia is better than the lower series of ATI.
