Hi everyone. For the first time in mylot i have started two discussions in a single day. Here is a cause, the first one was funny but this is serious. Hope all of u will share your views. According to hindu epics there are six unfaithful subjects( i exactly dont know, are those subjects or items or something else? Pliz forgive me if the word subjects sounds rude). Anyway there are all slokas( lyrical composes) in hindu epics. In a sloka, the writer considered 6 subjects as most unfaithful subjects in the world. 1. River 2. Animals having long nails. 3. Animals having horns. 4. Persons holding arms. 5. Women. 6. Persons from royal administration like chipahi ( police) and others. so, what do u think about it? Please share. Thanks in advance. I don't know what to think because I don't understand what you mean by an unfaithful subject. Are these things that are supposed to be difficult to write about or is each person or animal in the six believed to be unfaithful?

I dont want to mean anything. All these were written by some saints of india. Read my comment to msfranscisco in this discussion. I have tried to elaborate this matter according to my conception. Lol

hi butterfly. the writer would know better than me whyu he tagged them as unfaithful. but as my assumpotion... the RIVER was considerd bcoz its quick movements. no one can forghet the affects of flood. ANIMALS HAVING LONG NAILS and ANIMAL HAVING HORNS are similar. they can attack immediately with these two weapons. PERSONS HOLDING ARMA OR WEAPONS are also dangerous. if u make them angry then they can attack u by their weapons immediately. WOMEN i dont know why it was tagged? and last POLICE OR SOME PROFESSIONS TO ADMINISTRATION., we are well known about it. i think these statement is not sufficiant to clear u . but i dont know anythging more than it. thanks. have nice day.

Hmm..I really don't know what to think about it. I think that women and royal administration could make for very interesting topics. I'm not sure about why they would be considered unfaithful unless they were maybe referred to in certain ways. I think that rivers have many references in poetry and stories so I'm not sure about that either. Animals with horns and long nails...I might consider it to be an issue if someone wrote about them in a fictional way that presented them as evil or something..but otherwise..I'm not sure. Persons holding arms, i would consider a couple in love and I wouldn't think that was an unfaithful subject but I'm not real familar with hindu epics. I hope you can enlighten me on this subject if I have misunderstood. Take care.

hi jenin. no you are not misunderstood. its realy hard to interpret other's thought. the writer might found something and it was only his views, may not be genuine. as i can interpret, i have written a para to msfrancisco. please read it. if u dont mind. thanks for response. lol

I really don't get it. Why is 'river' an unfaithful subject? Or the 'animals having long nails'? Well, the writer must have a deeper meaning on this subject why he called it unfaithful.

Animals with horns are considered as unfaithful subjects; yet here I am oriented to the idea that Hindus consider cows as sacred being. So, which is which?

hi. good question. there may be two reason. 1. once upon a time in india. people ate beef and when the numbers of cows were went down, people declared it as a sacred animal. perhaps the verse was written before that time. 2. the cow has a little horn. by it she cant attack someone. thanks. have a nice day.

In my opinion different culture has different unfaithful subjects, but at least somethings are common. And a lot of unfaithful subjects are related to religions.

Hello dear bhai, I don't understand why the writer consider those six mentioned to be as unfaithful. how can an animal with long nails become unfaithful?...and so with the other mention subjects?. I think,it is just the writers opinion....and,i hope to know the reason why the writer defined those as "unfaithful"...then,maybe,i could understand more. Have a good day always my dear brother
