What has happened to soccer?

i actually happened to see a soccer match from 1960's and it was like watching a completely different sport.
-- The players tried to stay on their feet, no matter where they were on pitch.
-- They immediately got back up again after a tackle.
-- Any decision of the referee was gracefully accepted by them .
-- Each team showed courtesy and respect to their opponent.
So my question is, what has happened to the game of soccer? Is it simply a case of money corrupting the game of soccer?

soccer now is not like it in the past the player is getting very rich from play it ,200 000 for a week oh dear they look like a actor in Holywood than a sport man .every team especially Real they use the soccer to do business ,too much interfere from the other site ,
