Feliway Diffuser

Has anyone ever used those Feliway diffusers? I have 4 competing cats that are driving me crazy with using the carpet as the litter box. I am going crazy please help!

First I would bring everyone in for a vet check. There could be something physical going on. Then use an enzyme cleaner like Natures Miracle to thoroughly clean the places where accidents have occurred. Cats will return to use a place that they have used before and their noses are much better than ours.
I have used Feliway diffusers. You have to make sure you have enough for the area your cats are in. Read the label and get as many as you need. They have worked for some of my cats, but not for others. You have to be persistent. I wish you lots of luck.

I was also going to suggest Nature's Miracle. It works wonders on any surface that the cats have used for a litter box.
You might also have to add another litter box. It could be a territorial problem. Do this after you check out the cats. Are all four cats doing this behavior or is it just one or two? I had the problems with my cats, two of them did that same thing at different times. It turned out that they both had UTI's (urinary tract infections) at different times. I was told that they cannot catch UTI's from each other and that it can be caused by not getting enough liquid in their diets. I changed cat food to a food that is lower in ash and easier on their systems and I haven't had any problems with the cats.

I used Nature's Miracle last night and I woke up to 3 fresh piles of poo. I'm actually moving so hopefully that will help with less cats in the house. Thankfully 2 of them are my roomate's who is not moving with me.

I used to use those things all of the time, but money is tight and we stopped being able to afford the refills. It sure solved our problems espeially after we moved. The cats seemed more calm and relaxed. If I had the money I'd continue to use it. It would probably solve our problem.
