That remains to be answered by May 2010. I just hope that the election will not be marred by election fraud or scandal that will make a smooth transition of power from the present administration to the incoming transition.

There's a lot of problems here in our government and in our country. Corruption is the major problem I think it is hard to eradicate it totally. Many people in the government still have under the table business and it is hard to know who are them because they covering up each other. I like to vote Chiz Escudero but he quit to run this election. As of now I still don't know who I'm gonna vote. Many presidentiables have many promises but Filipinos now are wise.

Well Chiz is too idealistic that in the end may unable to eradicate corruption because of its enormity. Of course in trying to clean you ranks you need to really find the ideal ones too but that is just not realistic in our current situation. I think that is the reason why he backed out because he could not find just the right person to back him up because of his too idealistic principles which is really really hard to implement in a heavily corrupted government.

We have the power of information in the tip of our hands, why don't we use it? Noynoy? Villar? Erap? ARE YOU SERIOUS??? When will we ever learn? I am for Bro. Eddie Villanueva... clean record, God fearing, has a clear thought out plan... If ANYONE can point me to a better candidate than this guy, please do so... and prove otherwise...

You cannot eliminate corruption anymore. It's a fact. It's the truth. It's already part of any system and culture. We are living in this sinful world. And according to Bible prophecies, it will not get better in the future, instead, worse. Those politicians promising to clean the government from corruption, I can say, they are just day-dreaming. They will never be able to do that in actual. Or, maybe they are just promising to the people, to get votes. It is impossible to cleanse the society of it's ills. What we need now is a president, who is not aiming to cleanse the corruption, but to reduce it. Let's be realistic. With this, I'll think I'll vote for Gibo or Villar. They have more solid platform for governance. Voting for a very idealistic president like Nonoy will spell trouble in the future. If he win, let's expect endless battle between corrupt and non-corrupt officials. Battles that are not good for the economy. What we need is someone who can say to a fellow politician "Hoy pare, wag naman masyado ang kurakot mo, okay lang mangurakot, basta medya medya lang, konti konti lang, kawawa naman ang taong bayan".

I really like Chiz Escudero, and it's just very disappointing when he announced that he wouldn't run for president anymore. He deserves it, and I don't think there's anybody out there who's deserving to be the next leader, not even Noynoy. Noynoy wasn't even sure at first if he would run, and that's one thing that I doubt about him. Besides, during his stay in the senate, I haven't heard a lot about him--he was really silent. I don't know much about him, but everyone seems to be voting for him. Just take a look at his star-studded commercial. It's a very good bait for people.
