I installed this addon called Minimizetotray in firefox. It minimizes firefox to where the pc clock is(right bottom corner). It is suppose to use less resources that way. Hope it helps someone.

Ya that is pretty helpful if I was still using XP, but I have upgraded to Windows 7 and the current windows are now small squares instead of a button! Man I love Windows 7!!!

Man i only used them once on my friends pc and they looked great. I hear good things about windows can't wait to start using them. But first i need a new comp and it's hard to decide because I made my xp very useful and stable.

Now that is really cool. I love firefox add-ons. I use a lot of them like adblock plus, IE Tab etc. I will have to read up on the one you are talking about. Thanks for sharing that bit of info.

I will have to check out that addon. I am always afraid to get viruses, when I download. If it's from firefox, it should be fine. I will definitely check it out.

That really helps a lot but how much does it reduce its memory usage? Is it 50% or something? If it does that, then it is totally cool :D
