That is tough. If he had seen colors before then I will say that it is the color of the sky when it is clear or color of the ocean during good sunny day. If he is blind since birth then that would be a problem. Good luck to you on this.

Assuming that the blind gentleman has never been able to see I would run cold water over his hands and say this is the color blue. After that I would tell him a sad story about someone who has been heartbroken and say this is also blue. Then I would wait until spring or a clear day in summer, and lay outside with him beneath the sky and say sometimes this is also blue. THis is a great discussion Jakie... I think I will journal on this later on.

One answer I can think of is this. For an instance that the blind man already knew the taste of blue cheese. Then tell him the color of blue feels like when you are eating blue cheese. Or was the blind man naturally born blind? If not, then you can still describe the blue color since he have seen it when he was still able to see.

If he got blind since he was born, u absolutely couldn't describe it to him at all. but if not so, u can describe it by mentioning all of things that represents blue colour which he ever knew before.

Hi Jakie18 Firstly, ask him if we was born blind, or had some vision before progressively becoming blind. This will help the way you would tackle the actual question. If he was born blind, there is no way to decribe to him visually what blue colour looks like. However, you could explain it in a few ways What Items are blue in colour You could tell him that the sky is blue. What emotions the colour blue evoke Blue evoke scene of peace, calm, cold, the sea feeling.. Tell him that. If he had some vision.. You could tell him what "shade" it is. Like blue is a colour like the sky if you add blue with red, you'll get purple.
