Over the holidays, I managed to catch an old show that had Richard Pryor in it. He made the comment, No matter how old you are, everybody you look at is either older or younger than you. So, you are ageless!!! I love the sound of that!!! So, I've come to the conclusion that I'm ageless!!!
I loved Richard Pryor back in the 60s & 70s. I was sorry he made such terrible choices that took his life in the direction it went, but I did so ENJOY his sense of humor. He & Gene Wilder made some hilarious movies!!! I love this saying & as I look around me I'm beginning to see MORE people older than me & fewer people younger than me. So, ageless WORKS for me!!!

I'm happy to hear that it's working for you. In my head, I feel ageless but, unfortunately, my body is telling me otherwise.
I was just talking about this same thing a few days ago. Not what Richard Pryor said (although I feel the same as you about his movies), but about feeling like the same person I was when I was young, inside my head. It's kinda weird when you know you're the same person but you look in a mirror and say, "Who the heck is that?????"
I look around and see more and more people younger than me. I don't regret getting older; I've had quite a life and made a lot of great memories for when I'm too old to do anything but remember 'back when', but I sure would love to find that Fountain of Youth! I'd be pushing all those youngsters out of my way to be the first to set foot in that water!

I do understand what you're saying!!! I feel young...it's just that my body doesn't listen to my brain anymore!!!
I got so tired of looking at that strange person in the mirror, I now have ONLY one mirror in my home & I dodge it for the first couple of hours every morning!!!
I also have a lot of memories to carry me through my old age. If I ever get Alzheimer, I'll die a happy old lady for my memories that those patients relive were very happy ones!!!

I still consider myself young at only age 27 but even with that there are days when I fell much much older...i have even been told before that I look older than I am so I guess even with the fact that I am still considered to be young I still very much like the term ageless because you are only as young as you feel and i feel very old....LOL

You're way too young to feel so dayum old!!!
I was 27 just day before yesterday & now I'm getting ready to retire!!! Don't fall for that crap that you're only as old as you feel. If that were so, I'd still be doing cartwheels!!! In reality, if my feet get higher than my head, I fall over!!!

Well I guess I am to LadyM because I have the attitude that I am as old as I feel and not the Number I am so yes I am ageless to
Over the Years I have come across a lot of People who worry about the Numbers of their age and I don't know why, ok, I am scared of when the Day comes for me to leave but age as in Numbers has never bothered me as I have always believed you are as old as you feel and as you let yourself to be

Hi LadyMarissa
, well I would not call myself ageless, especially after looking at some recent photos of me
!
I do prefer to think that I want to fight aging as much as possible. Not that I do not want to die (or be raptured) and be with Christ. I just want to keep going until it is my time to check out of this world in my current state.
