Awhile ago my classmate asked me if I believed in the bible. I told him yes then he asked me, "why do you believe in it? Is there any proof that all the things written in there is true?" So what's your idea about this???

I don't believe in Bible completely. However I consider Bible as a mixture of edited words of God, added and deleted from it, many written words by men as well. which of course has some relation with Jesus, Moses and previous prophets. Why should I even concerned about Bible? because we believe in Jesus, Moses, David, etc. in all of the prophets without any distinction between them. I believe in the Last Testament, The last edition of manual for human beings 'The Quran' which revealed by the Creator of Human beings Almighty God. Why should I believe in Quran? Quran exists in Original language without any change since it has revealed. There is only ONE Quran for all Muslims all over the world. Quran is the book which claim itself that it is from God, and it is for human kind, which always tell us to think read and learn. Quran has no contradictions in it, if it was not from God then there would have been many contradictions in it(Quran itself says it) Quran has miraculous statements of Science, History, etc. which were known to mankind in recent years only. Some of them neither proved right nor proved wrong. None of it proved wrong. If what it proved is about 70% and found it as truth, and it is logical to me to believe in others which are not proved or not able to prove as well. May Almighty God guide us to the right path. Peace.

It's amazing how often someone has said, "Ah-ha! This proves the Bible is false." Then lo and behold, some archaeologist discovers proof that the Bible was correct all along. If this happened only a couple of times, no one would think anything of it, but it happens time after time. As a matter of fact, I've never known the Bible to be proven false in any of its claims. When you consider the amount of information that's written in the Bible, that's a pretty amazing record. Also, God said His word would never pass away. Since the beginning of time, Satan has been trying to destroy the word of God, but he will always fail. The Bible has passed the test of time, and it always will because it is from God.

I believe in the bible and always have and always will. God has done many things for me in my life and in my families life. Even when I get sick or down I believe in his healing and he is there to help you through everything. He said in his word he would never leave us nor forsake us.

I am of the opinion that the bible is all good intention. Is the bible absolute perfect truth, no way. You just have to be understanding and take what truths you can from it. I believe there are fragments of truth in all the bibles that exist out there, you just have to interpret it for yourself(and be careful in letting other people interpret it for you.).

The Holy Bible is the mystery and wonder of God's written words. it is true that the Bible has been translated into different languages and can be read by anyone who knows the language into which it was translated. However, reading and understanding are two different things. One might be able to read but could not understand what he is reading. The wisdom of God could not be learned through the wisdom of this world. no matter how advanced and progressive man's wisdom is, it could not be used to decipher the wisdom of God. Because God's wisdom is a mystery, hidden by God Himself for ages. Something that is hidden by man is hard to find, how much more if it is god Himself who has hidden it and it is mystery. And so, no amount of human wisdom could ever be enough for one to come to the full understanding of God's word. When it comes to understanding God's words written in the Bible, one should not rely on human wisdom but on God's wisdom which He revealed to the messengers sent by Him. It is God's true messengers whom people should go to learn God's will and come to its full understanding. It is also to such ministry that people should be linked in order to be of God and of Christ and eventually receive the promised salvation.

Yes, absolutely. I believe the bible is the word of God. However, it is too complex for me to understand every chapter and verse. I attend church so the messages in the bible are better explained to me.

I firmly believe in Bible. This the very foundation of my faith. Written in the bible are all true. I can say true because it has proof. The proof is testified, testifies and testifying by real situation of the world.

i do believe in bible spiritually and even scientifically... why? there are some scientific evidences of some events in the bible. you want me to give you one? here's one; the bible has told about the wall of Jericho that it was destroyed by Joshua by just playing an instrument. scientist got an explanation for that; the wall is standing right above a fault line! there must be some kind of resonance that triggered an earthquake and then eventually made the wall crumble! make sense doesn't it?

personally i dont fully believe everything the bible has to say. that being said i believe it has a lot of good messages that people should live by, but not to stress upon others. as for proof, if you believe i dont think you need proof. i also feel that people should realize the bible was written a pretty long time ago, and that not everything translates smoothly to everyday life. its historically accurate that there was a man named jesus from nazareth who proclaimed himself the son of god. truth? who knows for sure? none of us were there, but if you have faith i dont think it matters.
