We are all aware of what happen to Kobe Bryant, Manny Pacquiao and Tiger Woods. And I hope they are also aware that they cannot have privacy like what we have. What do you think are the disadvantages of being a sport celebrity?

Getting injured would be a disadvantage because if you don't get to play, you don't get to earn. Also there's a sort of "expiration date" in the sense that younger and more fresh athletes would come into the scene, and you get pushed away from the limelight until people forget you.

You're right! Sports specially boxing is a dangerous sports. Do you know Z Gorres?. He got head injury I think a coma. And he is still on the hospital. This is a sad reality. Few are those like Pacman who reach the top and earn enormous amount of money. I think even Z Gorres cope up, he will never have a chance to fight inside the truth. :-(

I think it depends on how you use your status. I agree that their privacy is a big disadvantage but they also have a big advantage over ordinary people. Like what was said in spiderman "Great power comes with great responsibility". They can use their popularity to good use like inspiring other people to a good life, helping communities, be a good role model to others. Sometimes they just have to accept the fact that they are public figures. Another disadvantage maybe is when they do something wrong, even if it is normal for other people it is like put in the microscope (it tends to be such a big issue). And another could be people with bad intention spread rumors about you. It is always like you have to prove your innocent rather than them prove your guilty.
