I had to delete a few friends on Face Book.I don't like when I log in and I see them swearing on my news feed.I don't think it's necessary.I can talk with out swearing, why can't they?I find swearing to be really offensive to me because for one thing I'm a christian so I say things with out using that kind of language,I just don't think it's appropriate.I did delete them, because they wouldn't stop talking that way.I will only keep someone if they don't use language like that.I think alot of people do that just to be a show off.Have you deleted any friends and why?

I hate people that swear too - so I totally understand you deleting them. Its an annoying habit that too many people have. I actually deleted a "friend" on New Years Day. My resolution was to stop hiding my feelings and bottling up my emotions. Her name is Nicole - and I know her through her roommate whose name is Callie. Callie and I have been friends for four years and I have never particularly cared for Nicole but I was nice and never said anything to her. Callie let it slip that Nicole thinks I like my own gender and has told others this - complete strangers that would believe her because they dont know me. She claims I dont talk about boys enough like a normal girl. I am too busy with college and work to really care plus I dont trust her with the information anyway That plus my resolution resulted in me deleting her. It was a simple and non-violent way to end our "friendship" as she is known to be very vindictive. So far it has worked out fine.

This is one area that, makes me feel bad but i usually dont have a choice but let them go. Initial you add or accept some friend request then later find out nasty post in your news feed. It really gets me upset and this is the reason why i spend very little time on the site.

I add a lot of unkown friends to my facebook. I need a lot of new friend because the games that i play need to search for new friends. So far, they are polite and never swear in facebook. they still remains in my friend list although i do not know who are they.

I'll have to say I've added random friends that play the same games as me,they do not swear.they talk nice when they comment and post on their status. It's the people I know that talk bad.Thank you for your response, maybe I should just add people to play the games with.

I can tolerate people who swear, but not too much especially in front of me. I've deleted some friends in my facebook because of that, too. I don't like to read posts on my wall with a lot of swear words and I don't want other people to see swear words all over my wall. I also delete when I know they have not been using their accounts anymore.

Oh i agree with you wholeheartedly.I have a tagged page, and i have a box there titled "My Page,My Rules" and there i make it clear that i dont like offensive languages and images in my page.Swearing easily annoys me too.And facebook is supposed to be social networking site and not a place where u pour ur angst :).you should delete people like that, they dont belong in your realm. Hope ur having a great day Java.

I deleted one person in my friends list in FACEBOOK. Because that person is only good to me if he needed something. And when he doesnt need me anymore, he will back stabbed me. He's no good staying in my friends list and I have no interest in knowing the updates of his life.

When I first registered on Facebook I for some reason invited all the people that came up on the "people you might know". At around 200 friends, I started realizing that all they were doing was giving me more useless posts on my front page when I really only wanted to see what my real friends were up to. At that point I cleared up my Facebook friend list. Now I have around 300 friends from which I know all, and I have lately even put them in smaller groups (e.g. my classmates, older friends, team buddies) to make it easier to find what people from different groups of my friends are doing. I've never been a part of the people who simply invite all the people they can so that it looks like they have a huge load of friends - that I just find dumb.

That happened to me.When I did a search for a friend in particular alot of names came up with no photo,so I invite the wrong person to be my friend, they accpted my friend requests. After they accept they put a profile photo and I realize that's not who I was looking for.
