Well,we all know about the twins and would have seen them a lot. They may be identical or not.But ever did you wonder who oi the elder one among them?Is it the first on that came out is the elder? Will the parents remember rightly to tell them who is the first?Or this is not at all a matter to worry?

haha, I know that the 'elder' twin loves to lord it over the younger that he is older and must be listened to etc.
but i think it's quite random, could have been either one, just who was nearer the exit that's all.

You are right! The one near the exit cannot claim to be the elder. But sometimes it takes some minutes(hours,in rare cases) for the second one to born and that makes the difference. But they must have been established at the same time at the least. If they can go hand in hand without claiming seniority, that could be great to see.

I think that both the twins should be considered as the same. None of them is younger or elder. Some people consider the one who came out as elder one. Some people even ask the other kid to call him 'anna' only because the other one came out first in a difference of a few seconds. That is too much. I like to have kids. I wish I could get a boy and girl twins so that I can be done with only one delivery.

Yes!It is indifferent to call the first came one to be the elder one.Even if they don't treat them like that, parents show their partiality in naming the kids.I don't know much about how they name in the foreign countries, but in our country, the elder is called Ram and the younger Lakshman or the elder Soorya and the younger Chandra,etc...If a twin brother can answer this, the post will be justified with the right answer,I hope.

I do not how, but parents with twins can always tell them apart and yes they have to tell the liitle bundle of joy who arrived first, that he or she is the eldest. It may be by a few seconds or a few minutes, but the one that arrived first is definately the older one. It,s not a must, but it normally is safer, as you get the teenagers who feel the need to be the oldest, as children are.

Will not it showing partiality between them when they think they are alike? If we distinguish them by minutes as elder and younger, will not they sense the difference between them?I think,we should not disclose it to them and help them enjoy their being twins. Not all people can have a twin brother or sister.
